House Renovation Management Tips: DIY it or Dont IY it

Here are the some important factor to consider in having a renovation
to your house
I Design stage
a. you have a choice to hire an architect is suggested if you have a bottomless
budget. or a Designer to work for you and act as your adjutant de Corpe in all
the whole cycle of your house construction .
b. Conceptualization . it is better that you have a rpport to your designer
as these stages shall require you to evaluate your taste , against
practical solutions untill you have finalized all paintaking finishes.
c. Design Document stages.
all of the working drawings are to be prepared for the council submission
concise measurements,accurate interpretation of your ideas plus your
designers solution shall mean a succesful and smoothsailing teamwork.
II Construction Stages
As an Owner Builder shall give you enough gain
especially reducing the administrative cost but also equivalent to your time.
it is advisable to hire
a. a project Manager . oops sounds expensive . he may be an architect or
qualified individual .
b. I suggest the Designer will have a much effective
forsight and good idea in overseeing the construction as he was the one
have the most knowledge in every details of the design.
Note : must be qualified and have knowledge in preparing Pert CPM.
c. Having the Designer with you in lodging the application for DA is much
easier and smooth in processing.
d. during construction he will act as your adjutant de corpse.
evaluating and processing of accomplishment and dealing wiht all
the discipline is not an easy task but very handy for him.
e. Having the qualified designer as PM means you are ready to hire direct
tradespeople in all specific discipline to eliminates middle man .
